Over the past 20 years, Gill has seen the broking industry evolve dramatically. Capita was created in response to this change, and continues to grow and respond to the needs of Australian people.

“It is about long term relationships, sound advice and taking the time look after the small things for people that matters to us,” she said.

Gill creates a culture where her brokers are valued and their skills are grown. Her focus is on giving her brokers the tools to support their clients, beyond a single transaction and along their financial journey.

Building relationships with lending networks and agents in Australia is important to Gill too. What would she do with more time for herself?

“I would spend it with my family enjoying the outdoors and relaxing,” she said.

Ben Della Vedova


Ben looks after strategy, business development and marketing at Capita, while making sure the company continues to evolve and build strong relationships with its clients.

Ben is a qualified Chartered Accountant, a fellow of FINSIA and holds graduate diplomas in chartered accounting and applied finance.

He gained his experience at ‘Big 4’ accounting firms and currently works with an ASX 100 mining company. We asked Ben what he would do with more time for him.

“Spend more time with my wife and daughters at the beach and on the farm!” he said.

Annette Della Vedova

Legal Counsel

Annette provides legal support and counsel to the people at Capita. After honing her skills for 6 years at a top-tier firm and a local boutique practice, Annette chose to share her corporate expertise with the Capita family.

“I have always felt that my legal career is about supporting my clients and making them feel valued,” she said.

“I believe in finding solutions to improve people’s lifestyles.”

Annette has worked on large mergers and acquisitions and corporate transactions, which often meant long hours in the office. Although she finds more time for herself now, she still can’t help taking on new projects, especially when it’s a good cause.

“What would I do with more time for myself?” she said.

“I would enjoy more sunshine, sand and good food with my friends and family.”

Twinkle Patel

Business Solutions Support & Training Associate

Twinkle has spent five years within the mortgage broking industry as a Team Leader and Assistant to the Director, where she supported him with complex loan structuring {Residential, Commercial, Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) and Asset Finance}, attended client meetings, created workflow training manuals and processes & reviewed other fellow team members tasks/projects.

Her team leader role also saw her providing training to colleagues in her team. She has a Bachelor of Banking and Finance degree and a Diploma in Business.

What would she do with more time for herself?

“I would travel, read a book by the beach, enjoy more time outdoors with family and friends and definitely go out to brunch more often,” she said.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Adam and his team for making our recent purchase of our new home such a pleasure.”
